Revenue Sharing!

This is a revenue sharing forum. This means that if your participate, you get to share in the advertising revenue we generate. The more active users we have, the better the site is.

To get started, you must first have a Google AdSense account. If you don't have one, get one here: http://www.google.com/adsense. You'll need a website if you don't have one.

Once you have an AdSense account, have a look at your profile page here at WorkFromHomeSpot Forums. At the bottom is a button to set up AdSense. Enter your AdSense client id (found in the script blocks generated on the AdSense site). You may also optionally enter a "channel id", used to break down AdSense revenue by source.

Once you've done this, post a bunch. After you've racked up 50 posts, the revenue sharing kicks in. On every thread you start, one out of three page views will display your AdSense ID instead of that of WorkFromHomeSpot.com. This means that when people click the ads on your threads, you earn money.

So the next question you might have is how exactly can I get myself set up for AdSense if I don't really feel like going through the expense and trouble of setting up my own website. Well fear not, I have a solution for you. Your website can be up and running in a matter of minutes, and for free.

The answer is Blogger.com. Go sign up for your very own blog. It can be about anything you like. Keep in mind that Google will be more likely to quickly approve you for an adsense account if your blog isn't entirely just personal stuff. Also don't blog about anything terribly offensive or illegal.

Once you've created your blog site, post a few times. When you have a couple of pages worth of text, go to the AdSense site here: http://www.google.com/adsense. Fill out the form, submit it, and within a day or two someone from Google will go look at your site and (hopefully) approve it.

Simple! Go sign up, post here 50 times, and you can start sharing the revenue. I think this can be a good forum, so tell your friends, link to us, etc. The more people we have, the more AdSense fun for everyone.
