Hi Everyone,
I have a unique home opportunity if anyone is interested.
In September 2007 I bought a 39 acre spread in Argentina. Production is in a 10 acre plum orchard, 5 acre vineyard, and about 10 acres of alfalfa. Then there is around 15 acres needing development. Argentina is cheap! The atmosphere is very family oriented, and the price of land is still cheap, but rising! My spread cost me $75,900 USD, not bad given the fact that I also have a small house in great shape and it even has full plumbing. However I need to add electric.
If anyone is interested in learning more please email me. No I'm not a broker, just a satisfied expat! Consider that Argentina is a fast rising star in the world of fine wines. Which I must mention is superb there. Ahh and cheap too for that! Eating and drinking, and real estate in Argentina is cheap. What's expensive are things like cars, cameras, video games, etc. All the industrial stuff. Although that's relative since I'm thinking in their currency, not in US dollars. Then again even in dollars, if one tries to import the same goods into Argentina there is a 40% tax. Anyway there are some caveats but nothing to crazy. Cost of living is so cheap, and life simple. What else could anyone want??????
