Were all slave to Utility Companies

What is all this talk about how U.S. Homeowners can now, eliminate their electric bill entirely? This I would like to see. Do you really think the utility companies that have century old monopolies on all U.S. energy rights are going to lie down and allow this? You can bet not.
U.S. homeowners will continue to purchase electricity from their current utility provider at prevailing cost rate increases that are tied to the cost of a barrel of oil and the cost of living index. Unfortunately it appears they have no say so or privacy when it comes to consumer energy consumption and who provides it and at what cost.
